Good for the Back?

The five tibetan rites of rejuvenation are something I enjoy sharing with the world simply because of their versatility. (A bit of background here: The Five Tibetan Rites of Rejuvenation)

For a while now, I have been mulling over the implications of these exercises for the future of health care and health maintenance.

Specifically, I have been thinking about their usefulness in relieving and preventing back pain.

If I am going to go with my own personal experience and the testimonials of numerous others, then yes, these are great exercises for the back, and the body in general.

The third, fourth and fifth rites incorporate gentle back stretches which are quite within the capabilities of most of the population.

As a group they act on the spinal column, in one way or another, which contributes to core strength and can be considered a form of body weight training.

Versatile.

SPECULATION: These rites from tibet may also be an alternative form of pain relief due to their circulation enhancing properties.
